Data controller

Purposes of the processing
- To inform you about our products and services, where you request this through the forms in the system or by email.
- To answer and manage your enquiries, comments and suggestions, where applicable.
- To manage your participation in current and future recruitment processes, where you send us your data (including your CV) for that purpose.
- To manage competition registrations.
- Real-time geolocation services, see the statement below.
- In order to obtain information about the use of the system, the number of pages visited, the number of visits and the activity and frequency of use of visitors are analysed. For these purposes, the CONTROLLER uses statistical information produced by the Internet Service Provider, which does not allow the data subject to be identified at any time.
Information collected
The information collected by the system covers the following user data: name, tax identification number / passport, address and all personal data required to manage competition registrations and/or your user profile in the system.
Where our geolocation system in our App is used, we collect your location in real time, even when the App is closed. Geolocation collection is always controlled and supervised by the user. See the statement below.
We do not store banking data of any kind.
Legal basis
Consent. Personal data obtained through the forms in the system will be processed solely on the basis of the consent given by the data subject by ticking the box provided for that purpose. This consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Legitimate interest of the controller. The statistical information obtained from the system will be processed on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest. This information does not allow the user to be identified.
Recipients
The personal data obtained through the system will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law.
Retention
Personal data provided by the user in order to receive commercial communications, take part in competitions or maintain a user profile in the system will be retained until the data subject requests its erasure or withdraws consent.
Where the user sends personal data in order to take part in the CONTROLLER’s recruitment processes, the data will be processed for participation in current recruitment processes and, if the candidate is not selected, the personal data will be retained for a period of two years so that they may be considered for future processes.
Where the user sends data in order to contact the CONTROLLER or to make enquiries or suggestions, the data will be retained for as long as necessary for that purpose and for as long as liability may arise from the processing.
Geolocation data collected will be retained if the user so requests at the end of the competition in order to share the route taken during the competition. Otherwise it will be deleted.
Traffic, statistical and web visit data: this data will be retained for a period of three years.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data, and of restriction of and objection to its processing, by writing to Velázquez, 8A POCI - 07760 CIUTADELLA DE MENORCA (Illes Balears), Spain, enclosing an official document that identifies you. Elitechip App geolocation services
Our App offers geolocation services during competitions. These services are used exclusively during competitions to allow athletes to be located in real time. The information collected during the competition will be discarded once the competition ends, and only its owner may keep it in their profile if they wish to do so.
During a competition, users who wish to do so may enable geolocation in the background. Our system will collect the device’s location and send it to our servers. No geolocation information will be shared with third parties. At the end of the competition the user will decide whether to publish the track generated. If it is not published, the data will be recycled automatically. The user may stop the geolocation service and cancel their public data at any time.
Once the competition ends, our servers will stop collecting device location information even if the device remains active. An active device will show an indication at all times that the location is being sent to our servers. The user may stop sending their location to our systems at any time.
Protection of minors
Anyone who provides data through the forms on this website and accepts its processing formally declares that they are over 16 years of age.
Access to and use of the portal is prohibited to persons under 16 years of age.
The CONTROLLER reminds adults responsible for minors that they will be solely liable if a minor enters their data in order to request any product.
It also informs them that software exists to restrict browsing by filtering or blocking certain content.
